I invite you to join me in building an empowering community that believes in the progress of humanity and embraces a philosophical, spiritual way of living and thinking.

I call this meta-religion Metadivinism.

We are not dogmatic, nor do we endorse any dogmatic religion. We are a meta-religion that exists above and beyond the divisions of contemporary faiths. We come together by choice, through reason and compassion, because we believe that humanity is capable of continually improving our minds, our lives, our bodies, and our world through ideas, dialogue, culture, philosophy, and science.

We reject dogma, violence, fanaticism, and blind faith.

We believe that religion is much like language: an expression of culture. No culture is inherently superior to another, and no religion is inherently better than another. Religion is simply one of many ways through which people seek to communicate with the divine—or with what they choose to call God.

If there is a God, then God has created a self-contained world. Everything we need—our resources, our loved ones, and the opportunities to live meaningful lives—already exists within it. Through your religion, your philosophy, or your personal beliefs, you may seek wisdom from God, but it is ultimately up to us to discover our purpose and fulfill our potential.

If there is a God, then God has also given us a heart. We may not always know what we truly want, but we can search for it, pursue it, and strive toward it with compassion, integrity, and respect for others.

We simply follow our hearts.

If there is a God, then God does not move us like chess pieces. Rather, God inspires us through knowledge, conscience, emotion, and insight, allowing us to recognize the people, opportunities, and resources already present in our lives.

If there is a God, then God is Knowledge itself: the transcendental perspective that encompasses all perspectives—a truth we may endlessly seek but never completely possess.

Should we choose to practice a religion, we do so philosophically and without dogma. Every tradition contains wisdom; none possesses an exclusive claim to truth.

Metadivinism is neither a church in the traditional sense nor a cult. It is a voluntary community united by the belief that humanity can continue to progress without dogma and without fear.

Everyone is welcome—except those who seek to exclude others.

Our faith is not measured by what we profess, but by what we create, what we learn, how we treat one another, and how we leave the world better than we found it.

Let us say something we truly believe.

Let us do something we truly believe.

Anything at all.
